Make Love not War

Psalm 20:War.  War on terror.  War on drugs.  War for land.  War for people.  War for rights.    War, a state of competition, conflict, or hostility between different people, groups, or nations.

20:8-9

Some rely on chariots, others on
horses,
but we on the name of the Lord
our God.
They collapse and fall,
but we stand strong and firm.

Of all the wars that are raged, none is as important as the one for our souls.  The war for our soul, spearheaded by the devil, can not be fought with chariots and horses nor can it be fought with modern day guns and bombs.  We do not need armies or legions.  All we need is God.  Our weapon is love.  Love others as God loves us.  We are made in his image. Be the best representation of that image through love. Love means patience, forgiveness, and above all mercy.  Love is not resentment, judgement, or condemnation.  Love is God.  God is love.
